exercise #4 9/1

In 403 BCE, an ancient Greek philosopher named Socrates, was found guilty of corruping the youth by a jury of 500 citizens of Athens, and though he had the opportunity to escape he chose to obstain.

  1. Do you mean "abstain"?

    Also, I don't think the second comma you used is necessary. One might be necessary after "escape," but I'm not certain.
